  Bro. Cheney,

I wanted to thank you for your ministry. I am a student at The Crown College and will never forget the night you came and sang the song The Stranger From Galilee. On that night the love of God was so real to me, just as real as it was the night I was saved. The same stranger from Galilee loved me so much that He hung, bled, and died on the cross of Calvary. Thank you so much for your music ministry and your devotion to the Lord. I am praying for you and your wife Debbie. God bless you.

Your Servant for Jesus' Sake,

Brian Copeland

Thanks for the pictures and testimonies of your travels to the churches. I am not sure how I got on your mailing list but was praying for Debbie. So glad that her surgery went well and God's power was evident. I was saved in a Baptist Church in Front Royal, VA when I was 11. As I recall, it was a stone church on Main Street. I am thankful that I heard the Gospel in a church service. Soon after, we moved to Maryland but never forgot my sweet Sunday School teacher, Nora Roberts.

  Dear Bro. Cheney,

I loved the new pictures. I just met you at Temple Baptist and since then, my youngest son just graduated from High School, is now registering for College at Crown. I hope he gets to see you sometime when you are back. Please pray for him. His name is Brett Houston.

We are still praying for you and Debbie, and Praise God for her news of No Chemo.
I know you both are so relieved, and comforted.

In Christs Love,
Carol Houston

  Dear Bro. Marc,

It was such a joy to meet you recently at Temple Baptist. When I heard you sing and give a testimony of thanking the people for the prayers for your wife, I asked someone, what you and your wife had been through.
I was told Breast Cancer and a Mastectomy. I had told my husband, I think they might be going through what we've just gone through. And sure enough, I just felt that it was the same. I then met you and I am praying for you and Debbie as you wait for the final results of her treatment plan. God is so good to us, even in the valley. I am so sorry you and Debbie have had to go through this. It is a very hard and emotional thing to go through, but God, in His mercy and caring, carries us through somehow. He comforts us with his precious Holy Word and songs in the night. God bless you both.

In Christ's Love,
Carol Houston

  Hi Marc,
Don't know if you remember me but I was the pianist at Grace Baptist in Kilgore Texas for many years. So glad I found you. Since I saw you last, many things changed in my life, one being God began to give me many gospel songs to pen and record. Perhaps sometime you might like to hear one. I remember your voice and think of you often. Hope all is well with you and yours.

The current devotion is absolutely great and so appropriate anytime but espically this time of year. I was pressed for time when I read it earlier, so I plan to read and study it more carefully after the rush of the Christmas season is over. Merry Christmas. Love, Dad
