Above Photo: Pastor Les Ketron and his wife Lois at the Central Baptist Church in Abingdon, Virginia. Pastor Les Ketron has celebrated his 30th year of faithfully pastoring this church just recently. This pastor and his church family are dear and precious friends to this unworthy evangelist. I thank God for allowing me to preach and sing to these great people on every occasion possible.

Above Photo: Pastor and Mrs. Frederick Smith at the Bible Baptist Church in Birch Run, Michigan. Pastor Smith and his wife are such a blessing to Debbie and me. We enjoyed our time with them so much. Bro. Fred Smith and I have something very good in common. Both of our dads have served the Lord Jesus all of their lives and because of this, we relate not only as "pastor's kids" but also as following in our dads footsteps. This dear servant of God is such a great blessing to me personally of being with. It is churches and pastor's like this who make the many miles of traveling worthwhile. I look forward to being with this church and pastor on every occasion.

Above Photo: Pastor and Mrs. Wayne DeVerna at the Oxbow Lake Baptist Church in White Lake, Michigan. Pastor Wayne DeVerna has been a pastor friend that I've known since I was a teenager growing up in Michigan. He has been such a great and godly influence to so many people who are serving the Lord Jesus. We had a good Sunday night service in their church and then a wonderful time of food and fellowship in their home after the evening service. Debbie and I enjoyed being with these dear servants of our precious Lord so very much. I thank God for saints who have led by example such as Pastor Wayne DeVerna and his dear wife.

Above Photo: Dr. Dennis Carter and his wife Linda at the Trinity Baptist Church in Spartansburg, South Carolina. Dr. Dennis Carter has pastored this church for over thirty years now. He has had a long battle with cancer and is literally a living, walking miracle of the miraculous healing power of God. Dr. Dennis Carter and his wife Linda also have some of the greatest kids I've ever known. They all love and serve the Lord Jesus with all of their hearts, what a great legacy and honor to their dear parents. Dr. Dennis Carter is one of the finest Christians and most Godly men that I know of anywhere on the planet. He also is one of my favorite preachers if not my very favorite, you ought to hear him preach, heavenly! Dr. Carter sums up his life by one simple statement that he often says and writes in his correspondence, "JESUS, never fails!"

Above Photo: Dr. Dennis Carter and his wife Linda at the piano. About ten to fifteen minutes before each worship service, Dr. Carter will sit by his wife at the piano and sing to the "glory of God" as people are taking their place in the service. It is a little "taste of Heaven" to hear him sing as his dear wife accompanies him on the piano. They are the perfect husband and wife team in the Lord's work. They both are a special blessing to me and my wife. If you are in the Spartansburg, SC. area, please go and see this dear man of God and his great church family at the Trinity Baptist Church!

Above Photo: Pastor Dale R. Goodwin and me at the Freedom Baptist Church in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Pastor Dale Goodwin has pastored this church for almost three years now. He pastored in the state of Maryland for fifteen years before coming to Virginia. I'm glad that the Lord has sent him to my home state of Virginia. God has given me a good friend in this dear servant of God. My wife and I were so glad to be with this church on October 19, 2008. I was able to sing and preach and the Lord blessed our time together. The pastor, his wife and daughter, took me and Debbie out to eat after the morning service and we had a good time of food and fellowship with these dear people. We look forward to ministering at this church again in the future.

Above Photo: Pastor Mark Freeman and his wife Madge. These precious folks are two of my dearest friends in the ministry. Bro. Mark Freeman and I grew up as young boys in the state of Florida while our dads pastored in the state. Then when Mark and I became teenagers, our dads both pastored in the state of Michigan. We were friends growing up and both of us followed in our dads foot-steps and are serving the Lord Jesus to this very day. I don't know that God has given to me any more dearer friends than Mark and Madge Freeman. Mark Freeman pastors the First Baptist Church of Daleville Indiana.

God saved a precious lady in this meeting on Tuesday night. I praise the Lord for Bro. Mark Freeman and his great church family. Their friendship and faithfulness to Debbie and me through many years of serving the Lord has been a great and special blessing.

Above Photo: Pastor Paul Gabriel, senior pastor of the Columbus Baptist Temple with me. Bro. Paul Gabriel is a new found friend in the ministry. My wife, Debbie and I were able to be with him and his church family this summer and they were a very special blessing us. We are planning to go back in the future. Bro. Gabriel and I both were at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. around the same time. Columbus Baptist Temple has a great history, God has blessed this church and it is currently growing.
